The Full-Body Journey
From head to toe, give yourself over to time and a pair of practised hands.
Signature
Traditional Thai Massage
Time-honoured Thai techniques that press along the energy lines and stretch the body, releasing tension from head to toe.
The signature treatment at Thai Siam. Performed without oil, using thumb and palm pressure together with yoga-inspired stretches to work the body’s energy lines and ease tight muscles.
Natural essential oils paired with flowing oil-massage strokes, calming the senses and nourishing the skin.
Natural aromatherapy oils combined with smooth, flowing strokes to relax body and mind while nourishing the skin. Ideal if you prefer a gentler rhythm.
Warm herbal compresses pressed along the body, their fragrance seeping deep into the muscles.
Steamed natural herbal balls are pressed along the body as a warm compress. The herbal fragrance and gentle heat penetrate deeply, making this especially suited to deep-seated muscular fatigue.
Heated volcanic stones carry warmth into the deeper muscles, warming and soothing in equal measure.
Warm volcanic stones are placed on the major muscle groups to conduct heat, combined with hands-on pressure so that warmth travels into the deepest layers of muscle. Particularly welcome in winter.
Clearing the flow of qi and blood, awakening a body too long seated.
Meridian
Thai Gua Sha Massage
Gua sha strokes open the meridians, easing stiffness in the neck and shoulders and improving circulation.
A gua sha tool is drawn along the meridians to release stiffness and pain in the neck and shoulders and encourage the flow of qi and blood. Well suited to those who spend long hours seated at work.
Focused on the head, neck and shoulders, a quiet rescue for the office-bound, releasing tightness in little time.
Concentrated attention on the three areas that bear the most strain, the head, neck and shoulders. Short in duration and quick to take effect, it fits comfortably within a lunch hour.
“The prices are very reasonable. Whether oil massage or Thai massage, 90 minutes comes to under $300.”
